Bereka pairs you at random with one other person for video and text conversation. By checking the box on the entry screen and pressing Enter Bereka, you agree to these rules. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. You must be 18 or older

Bereka is for adults. You confirm that you are at least 18 years old each time you enter. Accounts are not used, so this confirmation is how we hold the line on age.

2. How to behave

While using Bereka you agree not to:

• show or ask for sexual content involving anyone under 18;
• expose others to nudity or sexual activity without their consent;
• harass, threaten, defame, or incite violence against anyone;
• share content that is illegal where you or your partner live;
• record, screenshot, or redistribute a partner's video, audio, or messages without their knowledge and agreement;
• use automated tools, scrapers, or bots against the service, or try to break, overload, or work around its safety and rate limits.

3. Reporting and moderation

Every session has a Report control. Reporting ends the current chat immediately and sends a record to our moderators for review. We keep connection details and reports so we can act on abuse, and we may end sessions or block access, by network address or other signals, when these rules are broken. Because many people in Ethiopia share a small pool of mobile addresses, blocks are applied carefully and are not a guarantee that a determined abuser stays out; serious matters may be referred to the relevant authorities.

4. The service is provided as-is

Bereka is offered without warranties of any kind. Video and audio flow directly between you and your partner over WebRTC and can fail for network reasons outside our control. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for what other users say or do, or for any loss arising from your use of the service.

5. Changes to these rules

We may update these rules. The version string and date at the top of this page identify the current text, and the same version is recorded when you accept it on entry. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated rules.
